Stampede 2009 may be months away, but thousands of people are anxiously awaiting 10 a.m. on Oct. 6 to secure their seat for the Calgary Stampede afternoon Rodeo and evening show featuring the GMC Rangeland Derby and The Young Canadians. 

“Last year people started camping out four days in advance to ensure they got great seats,” says Jon Jackson, the Stampede’s Ticket Sales manager.
