It’s hydraulic, it’s got a state-of-the art sound system, a great theatrical and lights setup, and it’s arrived just in time for this year’s Stampede. The Stampede’s External Promotion Group (EPG) and all its volunteer committees are dedicated to bringing western spirit to the community.

“This new mobile stage gives us the ability to attend more events because it can fit into places that our other two stages can’t,” said Calgary Stampede board director Terri McKinnon, who serves as liaison to the EPG. “It’s great news because now we can support functions that we were previously invited to, but couldn’t feasibly support.”

The stage will be used for community outreach, trade shows, conventions and a number of Stampede produced events.
