Although the Calgary Stampede is a not-for-profit organization itself, it is proud to offer a donations program that provides branded merchandise for local, not-for-profit organizations whose activities enhance our community and whose membership and activities are open to the public.
Requests must meet all of the following criteria:
- Local (southern Alberta)
- Not-for-profit or charitable groups
- The gift will be used for a not-for-profit or charitable cause
- Organization's purpose and activities are focused locally
- Organization's membership and activities are open to general public
The Stampede does not provide donations to the following:
- Political campaigns
- Private schools or exclusive clubs
- Private "Stampede" parties
- Groups outside of southern Alberta
- For-profit organizations (including corporations raising funds for charitable causes, golf tournaments and employee events). Requests from the Stampede's corporate sponsors or potential sponsors should be directed to the Stampede Sponsorship department.
If your organization and request meets all of the above criteria, please completely fill in the online application form or send a request letter with all required information to donation@calgarystampede.com or fax to 403.261.0190. Due to processing time, requests must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to your event. All requests must include all required information to be considered. Depending on submission date, requests will typically be processed three to four weeks prior to your event.
